59K jobs up for grabs on Labor Day

(UPDATE) MORE than 59,000 jobs will be up for grabs in various job fairs across the country on May 1, the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) said Tuesday.

Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said that 678 employers will offer 59,354 local and overseas employment opportunities in 38 job fair venues to mark the 121st Labor Day celebration with the theme 'Pabahay, Bilihing Abot-Presyo, Benepisyo ng Matatag na Trabaho Para sa Manggagawang Pilipino.'
