Wilson lifts GenSan past Marikina in MPBL

The GenSan Warriors leaned on the hot hands of John Wilson to subdue the Marikina Shoemasters, 85-80, on Tuesday and stretch their win streak in the OKBet-Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

Showing the form that made him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the MPBL Lakan Cup, Wilson fired 26 points, including three triples, to power the Warriors to their fourth straight win in the elimination round of the 29-team tournament.
