Remove Himamaylan as poll area of concern – mayor

BACOLOD CITY: Himamaylan City Mayor Raymund Tongson wants the city to be removed from the list of areas of concern for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on October 30.

While admitting that there is still an insurgency problem in the hinterland villages of Himamaylan, Tongson said he believes that the coming BSKE in the city 'will be peaceful.'
