DSWD eyes partnership with UK on hunger relief

SOCIAL Welfare Secretary Rexlon 'Rex' Gatchalian met on Monday with the British ambassador to the Philippines, Laure Beaufils, to deepen connections and explore possible partnerships on training social welfare workers and fighting hunger in the Philippines.

Gatchalian presented to the ambassador the agency's measures to upskill personnel of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and combat hunger in the whole country.
