Mindoro rallies past Sarangani for 1st victory in MPBL

Oriental Mindoro caught Sarangani napping in the third quarter and escaped with a 107-97 upset win in the OKBet-Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) at the FilOil Flying V Center in San Juan.

Banking on the hot hands of Agem Miranda and Sherwin Concepcion, the Disiplinados climbed out of an 18-point hole early in the third quarter en route to posting their first win in seven games in the elimination round of the 29-team tournament.
