2 Perpetual Help athletes set NCAA throwing records

Two athletes from the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta set new throwing records in Season 98 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) track and field meet at the Philsports Complex on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

John Paul Sarmiento, a 23-year-old Business Marketing student, set a new NCAA record in javelin with a distance of 63.02 meters. He is slated to represent the country in javelin throw at the Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia next month.
