KHARTOUM, Sudan: Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said Sunday it had "coordinated with" American troops to evacuate Washington's embassy in the country, where fighting between the paramilitary group and the army entered a second week following a brief lull.
France has also begun to evacuate its citizens and diplomatic staff from Sudan, the foreign ministry announced. The ministry said it had kicked off the "rapid evacuation operation" and that European citizens and those from "allied partner countries" would also be assisted.
