BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental is bracing for the possible onslaught of El Niño with a proposed P15-million budget to fund programs aimed at addressing its impact on local farmers.

Dr. Edmund Causing, provincial agriculturist, said an El Niño Task Force has been created based on the advice of the Department of Agriculture (DA).
