POLICE Major General Benjamin Acorda Jr. formally assumed his post as head of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday, April 24.
A member of the Philippine Military Academy "Sambisig" Class of 1991, Acorda replaced General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. who reached the mandatory age of retirement.
