THE Embassy of Malaysia in Manila cooked up a storm and introduced the local community to bubur lambuk, a traditional Malaysian porridge dish popular during the fasting month of Ramadan.

On Tuesday, Embassy Chef Ammar Syafiq Ayob prepared the dish at the ambassador's official residence in Dasmariñas Village, Makati City together with the staff and spouses of embassy officials, as well as kitchen personnel of Berjaya Hotel Makati and offered the food to the invited media and sent the same to Philippine President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and other Filipino dignitaries.
