NU trashes UE, secures semis berth

National University trashed University of the East, 25-5, 25-15, 25-13, on Saturday April 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena to secure a semifinals berth in the UAAP Season 85 women's volleyball tournament.

Reigning MVP Bella Belen fired 21 points on 13 attacks, six aces, and two blocks to lead the defending champs Lady Bulldogs, who rose to solo second with a 9-3 slate.
