AN INTER-AGENCY group created to address impacts of an oil spill from the sinking of motor tanker MT Princess Empress off the town of Naujan in Oriental Mindoro on Feb. 28, 2023, is accelerating its operations and reinforcing its response and recovery programs.
The National Task Force Mindoro, led by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), said as of Friday, April 21, the oil spill has already affected 38,871 families in Mimaropa, Western Visayas and Calabarzon.
