Bong Go pushes for more benefits for barangay health workers

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go is reiterating his call for the approval of his proposed Senate Bill (SB) 427, which aims to provide allowances and benefits to barangay health workers (BHWs).

Go said that if enacted into law, the measure will not only recognize the contributions of BHWs but also ensure that they are properly compensated and protected in the course of their duties.
