Benefits mandated by law to a domestic worker, or kasambahay

Dear PAO,

We are about to employ a domestic worker, or kasambahay. In this connection, we want to ensure that we are compliant with the law, especially with the question regarding the mandatory benefits of a kasambahay like the SSS, if any. As such, if a kasambahay is indeed entitled to SSS or other benefits, may we know who is mandated by law to pay for the contribution?
