THE Ilocos Norte-based Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) is bent on helping equip the competencies of local government unit (LGU) executives in the Ilocos Region on implementing renewable energy (RE) initiatives in the communities.
MMSU President Shirley Agrupis said that the RE executive competency training program (REECTP) for the pool of trainers is "part of the university's commitment to championing renewable energy development," as well as developing and cascading RE technologies into the locality.
