Mikey Williams named Finals MVP

Filipino-American Mikey Williams won the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) award after playing a key role in TNT's title-clinching 97-93 victory over Barangay Ginebra on Friday, April 20, played before more than 13,500 fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The sweet-shooting Williams saved the best for last after tallying 38 points, highlighted by a 9-of-18 shooting from the three-point zone. He also tallied seven rebounds and three assists in Game Six on Friday night.
