THE United States government has vowed to pursue more economic investments in the Philippines, including socio-economic programs in the communities where Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) sites are located.

Defense Officer-In-Charge Senior Undersecretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Friday that the pledge was made during the "2+2 Ministerial Dialogue" hosted by Washington D.C. last April 7 and attended by the Defense and Foreign Ministers of the US and the Philippine governments
