AT least two Catholic bishops of Bohol have expressed alarm over a spate of killings in the province, particularly in the northern town of Ubay, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines said.

Bishops Patrick Daniel Parcon of Talibon Diocese and Alberto Uy of Tagbilaran Diocese, in a joint statement, said the series of "unacceptable" killing incidents must be condemned.
