New EDCA sites to protect PH – Galvez

THE four additional Enhanced Defense Cooperation (EDCA) locations intend to intensify the role of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in strengthening the country's defense and security as well as humanitarian and relief operations, Defense chief Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Wednesday.

Galvez and Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo attended the general inquiry on EDCA by the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations chaired by Sen. Ma. Josefa Imelda 'Imee' Marcos.
