PHilMech to lead ODA program

THE Department of Agriculture (DA) will undertake a three-year official development assistance (ODA) program to provide guidance to the 10 selected machine manufacturers and fabricators in the country with the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) as the local lead agency.

Under ODA, the Technology Advice and Solutions from Korea (TASK) will be carried out to aid local Filipino companies in resolving onsite technical difficulties of machines and other farm facilities.

The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) will spearhead a project to assist 10 local farm machine firms with backing from South Korean institutions.
