DIGITAL literacy remains low among Filipino farmers despite many of them having access to the internet and mobile phones, a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas official said.
Citing survey results, Financial Inclusion Office Director Ellen Joyce Suficiencia said that 40 percent of the agriculture workers who responded had online and telecommunications connectivity but just 27 percent had bank accounts.
