It's a Chinese invasion

NO, it is not what some people are thinking of. But indeed, we have a Chinese invasion when it comes to the auto industry. As of last count with good friend Willy Tee Ten, there are now almost 20 Chinese car brands that have established shops in the Philippines.

At the last Manila International Auto Show or MIAS, of the 15 exhibitors, nine are Chinese, three are Japanese, one is American, one is Korean, and one French. If that scale does not merit the title of this column, then I do not know what will.
