Store expansion, higher sales boost Shakey's profit

SHAKEY'S Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. netted P874.40 million in 2022, a big jump from P122.98 million in 2021, as dine-in sales surged following the reopening of the economy.

A store network expansion and the acquisition of Potato Corner, which the firm assumed management of beginning March 2022, were also said to have driven profits.
