IN an apparent move to reassure the people over the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement's (EDCA's) grant of military sites on Philippine soil to help the US fight its projected war with China, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (BBM) has announced that there would be "no offensive actions" from the "new EDCA sites."
From Washington, D.C., Foreign Secretary Enrique Manalo was quoted as saying EDCA was a "key pillar of the US-Philippine alliance."
