Laguna-Dasmariñas ends PCAP elims on top with 27-1 record

Laguna-Dasmarinas wrapped up the elimination round of 2023 Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) First Conference with a 21-0 shutout win against Cavite Spartans in the virtual tournament held via Chess.com platform on Saturday.

The Dr. Fred Paez-owned professional chess team concluded the elims with an impressive 27-1 win-loss card to pace the Northern Division. Its only loss was against Negros Island Region, which topped the Southern Division with a 25-3 card.
