Last October, barely three months after my work in public service, I changed gears to become an actress again, this time for the latest film by Louie Ignacio. His line producer Dennis Evangelist reached out to me and asked if I was interested in being a part of actor Ken Chan's debut feature as a lead actor.
I temporarily gave up acting and went on a long hiatus so I could focus on public service, and returning to the craft was a complex and emotional experience. It had been six years since I did my last movie project, and I couldn't help but feel this surge of emotions as I returned to the work I loved. There was a feeling of excitement, a sense of anticipation, and an eagerness to reconnect with my passion for acting.
