SEN. Maria Josefa "Imee" Marcos visited the province of Bulacan and led the distribution of P3 million worth of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to 2,886 Bulakenyo residents held in the cities of Malolos and San Jose del Monte, and Bocaue town on Thursday.
Before the AICS payout activity, the senator, with Vice Gov. Alex Castro; Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad; Kristine Evangelista, assistant secretary for consumer affairs and spokesman for the Department of Agriculture (DA); Maricel Dullas, OIC chief of Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division; and Ma. Gloria Carillo of the Provincial Agriculture, met the young Bulakenyo farmers during the Young Farmers Challenge Competitive Grant Assistance Program held at the Camella Provence Club House in Malolos.
