A THREE-DAY exhibit called 'Sining sa Hardin: Bulacan Art in the Park at Konsierto ng mga Artistang Bulakenyo' was held by the provincial government through the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (Phacto)-Arts and Culture Division from April 14 to16, 2023 at the Mini Forest in the Provincial Capitol Compound in the City of Malolos. The exhibit was graced by Vice Gov. Alex Castro with movie and television actor Jao Mapa and Phacto head Dr. Eliseo de la Cruz. Twenty-four music performers and 14 art groups will participate in the exhibit. Celebrating the Bulakenyo artistry are the Hiyas ng Bulacan Provincial Band, Frolic Nerve, The Art Corner PH, Kardobente Uno, Yort, Trixie Dayrit, Benn Music, Bagumi, Episode III, Pax Machine, Von Lucero, Daloy Kolektibo, Sweet December, Drivenback, Why Loras, Paul de Guzman, The Libras, BulSu Liveband, Kross Path, Omanaki, Acoustic Soulmate, Citrus Blend, Ferry Baltazar, and Strings of Madala. The art groups that will participate in the exhibit, are the Artists Guild of Sta. Maria (AGOS), Alyansa ng Sining Biswal ng Guiguinto, Association of Quingua Artists, Bahaghari ng Malolos, Bahaysining, Baliuag Art Group, Bulakan Artist Circle, Focus Bulacan, Graffiti Artists, Grocery, Lumina, San Rafael Artists Group, and Sining at Galing ng Santa Maria (Sinag). Gov. Daniel Fernando encouraged arts and music aficionados to support local artists and musicians for they are considered beacons of light that illuminate the ingenious artistry of Bulakenyos. 'Let us patronize and give regard to the art created by our fellow Bulakenyos whether in the field of art, music, and history. Let us help them get the proper recognition that they deserve,' said Fernando. For his part, Vice Gov. Castro said the event will showcase the talent and skill of Bulakenyo artists as he thanked all the cultural performers who participated in the three-day art exhibit.
