Regional tension could stall BRI projects – Roque

FORMER Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. on Saturday warned that geopolitical challenges in the South China Sea and Strait of Taiwan might derail Philippine infrastructure projects under China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Roque said that despite the robust Philippine-China relations during the administration of former president Rodrigo Duterte, only two of the 75 BRI projects in the country have been completed since 2016.
