Hot, humid weather to persist – Pagasa

Cloudy but hot and humid weather will prevail in most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday.

Weather forecaster Grace Castaneda said that the easterlies -- winds coming from the east passing through the Pacific Ocean and bringing warm and humid weather to the country -- are affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
