A NUMBER of countries will fail to meet their 2030 national education targets if they don't have a combined $97 billion in additional funding, a new United Nations report revealed on Friday.

The report by the Global Monitoring Report of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), titled "Can countries afford their national SDG4 benchmarks," was written as input for the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
