College of St. Benilde completed a sweep against Lyceum of the Philippines University as the Lady Blazers scored a straight sets victory over the Lady Pirates, 25-19, 25-11, 25-20 in Game 2 of the finals to repeat as champions in the NCAA women's volleyball tournament on Friday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
St. Benilde won the title even with all the struggles in the tournament, including the loss of last year's Most Valuable Player (MVP) Mycah Go due to a knee injury weeks before the start of the season.
