BAGUIO CITY: Cordillera lawmakers are eying the passage of House Bill (HB) 3267 that seeks the establishment of the Cordillera Autonomous Region in the House of Representatives before the adjournment of Congress by the first week of June this year.

Kalinga Rep. Allen Jesse Mangaoang, Mountain Province Rep. Maximo Dalog Jr. and Baguio City Rep. Mark Go, who spearheaded the conduct of a public consultation on the autonomy bill, said the bill is being calendared for plenary debates once Congress resumes its first regular session by the second week of May for the same to be approved on second and third readings before the adjournment.
