(UPDATE) PHILIPPINE National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) director BGen. Narciso Domingo confirmed on Thursday that he has been relieved of his post over his alleged involvement in the cover-up of the arrest of anti-narcotics operative M/Sgt. Rodolfo Mayo during a raid in October 2022, wherein 990 kilos of crystal methamphetamine or shabu was seized by authorities.
Domingo said the order took effect on Wednesday placing him on floating status.
