Muntinlupa rips Quezon City, claims solo lead in MPBL
Muntinlupa cruised to its fifth straight win and the solo lead in the OKBet-Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) on Thursday with a 76-43 thumping of Quezon City Gaz N Go at the Bren Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.
Flaunting the depth of their bench, the Muntinlupa Cagers broke off from a 17-all logjam in the first quarter to take the half, 37-22, and pad it to as high as 76-40 en route to victory and the top spot in the 29-team tournament.
