(UPDATE) THE Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) on Tuesday announced a reduction of P0.1180 per kilowatt hour (kWh) in the electricity rate this month, bringing down the overall rate for a typical household to P11.3168 per kWh from the previous month's P11.4348 per kWh.
This translates to a decrease of P24 in the power bill for residential households consuming 200 kWh.
