(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday ordered the Department of Transportation (DoTr) to defer an earlier approved fare increase for train lines Light Rail Transit 1 and LRT-2, taking into account its "economic impact" on commuters.
The fare adjustment for another train line, the MRT-3, was also deferred "due to infirmities in complying with requirements and procedure."
