Water firms urged to prepare for the worst this El Niño

A CONGRESSMAN is urging water concessionaires to prepare early for the worst this El Niño season and avoid a repeat of the water crisis during the summer of 2019.

'We do not want a repeat of the 2019 water crisis, so we would urge the two water concessionaires to prepare this early for the worst, should we have a full-scale El Niño event in the months ahead,' Quezon City Fourth District Rep. and Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Metro Manila Development Marvin Rillo said in a statement.
