SEC warns vs investing in Mindanao-based firm

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a warning against an entity it identified as using the names Salig Philippines, Salig Philippines Foundation, Salig Philippines Inc., and Society of the Advocate of Lights Philippines Inc. for selling securities without the proper license and registration in Mindanao.

The organization, headed by its founder, Ireneo T. Daligdigan Jr., or Jun Daligdigan, was said to be asking for a minimum investment of P5,800.00 with the promise of a 30-percent return after 30 days.
