Airline personnel probed for human trafficking

AN airline employee is being investigated by airport authorities after being linked to a human trafficking and illegal recruitment attempt involving a Filipino who was recruited to work as a domestic helper in the Middle East.

Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco said that he sought the investigation after Bureau of Immigration officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 3 intercepted a woman who attempted to leave with a fake immigration departure stamp on her passport.
