THE first batch of durian from Davao weighing 28,000 kilograms or 28 metric tons (MT) has been shipped to China as part of the export deal for the country sealed for the farm commodity last January.
The durian shipped to China were consolidated from producers and processors in the Davao Region that passed the strict requirements set by the General Administration Customs of China (GACC).
