Angara: Funds available for govt cancer program

SEN. Juan Edgardo 'Sonny' Angara on Saturday said there are funds available under the national budget for cancer patients seeking treatment at government hospitals.

'As chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, we have always ensured that there is funding for programs and projects to help our people who are afflicted with cancer, particularly those who cannot afford expensive treatments,' he said in a statement.
