Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (Asaphil) president Jean Henri Lhuillier praised the Cebuana Lhuillier-backed Philippine Blu Girls who secured a spot in 2024 Women's Softball World Cup after finishing a strong fourth place in the Asia Cup on Saturday in Incheon, South Korea.

"I'm so proud of how our girls competed in each game. They went toe to toe with the best of Asia and they showed they deserve that World Cup slot," said Lhuillier, a long-time supporter of softball in the country.
