ON THE CONTRARY

THE suffering of Jesus Christ to save us all from our sins is the highest form of sacrifice and the greatest gift to humanity. This is why we both commemorate Christ's suffering and celebrate his rising from the dead.

This is precisely why we cannot simply give up every time we are experiencing our own calvaries, when we are persecuted because of our beliefs and convictions.
