AT least nine fraternities based in Cebu City, including the Tau Gamma Phi which was recently embroiled in a fatal hazing case, have signed an agreement to stop violent initiation rites, the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) revealed on Thursday.
PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta told The Manila Times that PAO representatives witnessed late last week's forging of a "peace pact" between the Cebu-based fraternities and the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).
