Trade chief touts RCEP benefits

TRADE Secretary Alfredo Pascual on Wednesday emphasized that benefits micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) would gain from the country joining the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

In a Facebook post on April 4, Pascual said that aside from access to a wider market with preferential tariff treatment under one set of rules of conducting trade, MSMEs can also provide services to the global value chain.
