Macron, von der Leyen to press Xi on Ukraine

BEIJING: The leaders of France and the European Union will seek on Thursday to make Europe's case for bringing an end to the war in Ukraine in a Beijing meeting with Xi Jinping, a close ally of Vladimir Putin.
