Despite calls for gender equity...

THE Pew Research Center recently reported that the gender pay gap has not changed in the US in 20 years. In 2002, earlier research data showed that women earned 80 percent of what men earned. In 2022, Pew's new data on median hourly earnings of both full-time and part-time workers revealed that women earned an average of 82 percent as much as men.
