Asian countries should resist cold war mentality – envoy

CHINESE Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian on Tuesday said countries in Asia must uphold independence and resist the cold war mentality and 'bloc confrontation.'

'Regional countries should stand on the right side of history and remain unaffected by external interference so as to safeguard the dividend of peace for our region and build an even better homeland,' he said.
