Amosup welcomes EU recognition of PH seafarer's certificates

ASSOCIATED Marine Officers and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (Amosup-PTGWO-ITF) President Conrado Oca welcomed the decision of the European Commission (EC) to extend its recognition of Filipino seafarers' certificates issued in the Philippines.

'We are extremely pleased because, for years, we have been working very hard together with our social partners and the government to get this accreditation,' the leader of the biggest seafarers union in the country said in a statement.
